Vada idly

I stay in BTM, supposedly the most happening place in Bangalore. Yes there is life beyond MG Road. But we couldn't get anything to have at 6 in the morning at all the popular places till we came to Pallavi in BTM 2nd stage.

Hot idly, dosa and vada with pongal! All set to serve at 6.15 am and what a wonderful taste.

Made this beautiful curry from scratch in just 25 mins with some rice and viola. Do you see the colours? It is the spices you know. This is the traditional Andhra chicken curry. I didn't have green chilly so it is a bit mild.

This version of cooking makes the chicken so soft that it I like a ripe banana. If you reduce the spices your kids would love it too.

Donne biryani from Shivaji Military Hotel


My lunch today. Donne biryani is very famous for its unique taste and has only one outlet in Banshankari Bangalore. Usually you will find about 100+ people waiting and 100+ having biryani here any time of the day and you need to follow a token system and wait for 30-90 mins on a normal day.
