This pancake enriched with rich nutrients tasted real yum.
Easy to digest very light on baby's tummy.
Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
1 cup Moong dal
1 Carrot - Peeled and diced
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder to taste
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
a pinch of carrom seeds (ajwain)
Preparation:
Soak Moong Dal for an hour. You can soak dal over night too.
Drain and blend it along with Carrots, and other mentioned ingredients to a smooth mixture .
Take it in to a bowl and mix well. Batter is ready to use,.
Take a pan , heat it up, spread some butter on pan and make pancakes.
It tastes good with Indian pea nut chutney or just with honey.
I tried with Honey this time.
