Tamil Nadu pongal

I must confess I love the pongal from Tamil Nadu. A soft combination of dal, rice, ginger, coconut, peppers, spices and what not cooked overtime in a bowl and added with light curd chutney that makes it an ideal breakfast. If you consume more than what you can hold you might fall asleep. So don't day I didn't warn you.
